and then, i texted her
recent years, i have grew closer to my mother. no idea why, but we enjoy doing many things together. at least i enjoy her company a lot.
and i missed that kind of company, so so much. that kind of company, where i deeply miss and lack of. anyways, that day we were discussing about what things my family would want me to buy for them from london. mummy wanted a bag, exactly what i am looking for too! so i found a bag and wanted to ask her if she likes it via email. daddy was lazy to browse through the link i gave so mummy called me instead. and we entered the topic of andy lau. well, i am always very into the chinese entertainment industry so i always read about the latest gossips. and of course, what has been the headlines this week are just about andy lau being in malaysia because his father in law past away. so mummy and i talked about this gossip and just minutes ago i found out andy lau finally went public with his 24 years long girlfriend (or maybe wife). i texted mum straightaway, even though it's only 6 in the morning there. but i'm pretty sure she's awake. her reply was so funny... "where did you see from?" she gave me some updates this evening and now i gave her the most important juicy news. haha. guess later when she goes to the market, she will surely get a copy of the chinese paperS!!!

And then, I went to Cambridge
Normally, I would be so excited towards blogging about my trips but this time, I did not feel the urgency.
Maybe because the trip was so spontaneous that I have not absorb it well yet. And now, after 2 days of short jogging sessions and 1 long morning of house chores, I have body aches every where. The more I am excused to be lazy? Sigh, I don't even know if what I typed make sense or not. I was loading my photos on Monday that I realized I looked so much fatter and bigger. Feeling sad and disappointed with myself, I did not even have the mood to upload those pictures to blogger. After all, the pictures ain't pretty! Anyways, what pictures am I talking about? I went to Cambridge. At Last. I did not go for a tour. I went with my sister. We went for the famous punting tour ride, where we witness a father (chinese!) dropped into the water after much struggle in balancing. It was so dangerous because his head was in between 2 boats. And the people there actually clapped the moment he fell. Luckily sister decided not to punt by ourselves, judging from her experience with my brother. We also went in two colleges: Queen's College and Trinity College. Let's just leave this post simple because it was a simple trip. Haha, not funny....

So, it happens
I'm gaining weight day by day. I was before my Italy trip but I had my stomach problems, which helped me in reducing weight, in a way.
Now, after 2 weeks, I'm putting on weight again. At first I thought it was just my face. Now, judging from my latest photos, I put on weight in general. My body is bigger, and everything is bigger now. I'm scared. I don't want to go home dark and fat. At least if I go home fair and fat it's ok. But I'm dark, so I must not be fat!!!!

Already???
Everytime I browsed through people's blog, I will surely come across a few who "celebrates" their 100th post.
I'm surprised I actually reached there too! But I guess coming over to UK encourages and motives me to write even more, so that I can reflect about this trip few years down the road. Oh well, time surely flies...... Yesterday, I almost got one of my wish in that list I made. ALMOST...... I missed in by just an hour. AN HOUR. It's meant to be I guess. I wish I wish... Never come true punya.....

Italia's Fashion City: Milano
Last destination!!!!
We have been to Milan for about 2 hours during our transfer of train from Venice to Lake Como. And the getting lost experience included a lot of Milan's central station. But now, we are here, for good. We took our own sweet time taking the ferry out from Bellagio, only coming to know that we missed our train to Milan. The next train was in 2 hours time and we were generating other options to get to Milan as fast as we can. Anyways, that was really random. The next day, again, we went to the Duomo, after we checked out of the hotel. You see, this was the only tourist place we could go. I wanted to go see the "Last Supper" but apparently we need to book the entrance tickets 3 months in advanced. So we did not even attempt to go for a look. In the end, as usual, photo taking of the building from the outside, for day-time view. And now I know why, the place is boring!! And the building isn't even that nice. At about 3 p.m., we decided to go to the airport, hoping there would be some shopping to do. By the time we get on the bus at the central station and reached the airport, it was only 5:30 p.m. Guess what? Due to the fact that it was a budget flight, we of course would come to a small airport. And, there was no shopping for us to do! Checking in, settling down for some food, it was only 6:30 p.m. 4 more hours to go and we were already in the gate! Then, my gastric pain kicked in. So I sat down observing the police checking people's passport because at that time I was still very worried about entering UK again. And the waiting begun. Our flight was delayed. And then, not delayed. The flight before us, which was 5 something in the evening was delayed. And we got on the plane an hour before them. I really pity them so much. So, Milan was really just a place for us to walk, wait and wait. But at least I can say, with the Italian's accent, I have been to Milano (imagining their way of speaking English, so funny!).. |
